rockyourlyrics117 Live and Hyundai C Square is bringing the biggest ever showcase of iconic K-Pop artists to Dubai with SMTOWN LIVE, a global performance brand which is making a spectacular entry into the Middle East as part of its world tour.
For fans who enjoy Korean Pop music or K-Pop as the genre is called, all roads lead to Dubai in April.
‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI in DUBAI’ will perform at Dubai Autism Rocks for around 4 hours from 6 pm on April 6, The performances will include 35 artists with SM’s superstars such as KANGTA, BoA, TVXQ!, SUPER JUNIOR, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, TRAX, and Henry.
SMTOWN LIVE, which started its first tour in 2008, was held in major cities around the world including Seoul, New York, LA, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok and Singapore. The concert will consist of vibrant performances which includes amazing collaborations and an EDM section while enthralling audiences with a rich repertoire and a stunning stage production.

Making her presence felt at the show will be the No.1 female artist BoA. She is an icon of a Korean artiste to achieve success abroad. She was not only the No.1 artiste in Korea but also No.1 artist in Japan. BoA was the first Korean artist to achieve over 1 million in sales and be the first Korean artist to enter the Billboard 200 in 2009. With their strong performance and music TVXQ! is loved in all Asia. Their song MIROTIC was selected as one of the 50 greatest boy band songs of all time by Rolling Stone magazine and will be another fantastic band performing at SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI. KANGTA who was a Hallyu boy band member and now is a popular artist in his own right will be performing his songs on the day.
The enthralling line up of bands will also include K-Pop boy band’s role model SUPER JUNIOR whose album Play was #1 on the iTunes chart in 23 countries. Girls’ Generation which is one of Asia’s top girls group will also be a part of the amazing lineup. Their album Holiday Night was #1 in Billboard US World Album charts and #1 in iTunes Album charts in 19 countries.
Continuing the emergence of scintillating musical talent from Korea is top-trending girl band Red Velvet who were awarded the best female group at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards. Their album ‘Perfect Velvet’ was #1 in Billboard US World Album charts for the 4th time earning the record to be the K-POP singer who has the most #1 chart hits.
The singer of song POWER which was the first ever K-Pop song to be used for Dubai Fountain Performance, K-Pop boyband EXO will also be regaling their Dubai fans again. They have achieved the status of quadruple million sellers by their fourth album and won the album of the year for 5 consecutive years at the Mnet Asian Music Awards. TRAX is another acclaimed rock band who have performed across Korea and Japan. With a wide music spectrum, they will be performing a EDM section at this concert. The talented hit group SHINee will also be singing their hit numbers for fans. Their accomplishments include a Prime Minister’s citation at South Korean Pop Culture Awards in 2016. Multi-faceted entertainer Henry rounds up the talented individual acts at the concert. Born in Canada, he is an accomplished singer, dancer, rapper, beatboxer, composer and actor.
