The first night of the first season of the Jazz Garden Series maintained its promises of being plenty of jazz, blues and fun!

The venue (located on the road between Zero Gravity and Skydive) was already full few minutes after the doors opening showing how passionate is the Dubai audience on his music scene.

First one playing were Lady J and the Royal Vagabonds, a Dubai-based band, that delivered a fantastic set full of energy and great music (https://www.facebook.com/theroyalvagabonds/).

We really liked the stage presence and vitality of Janelle Thomas lead vocals of the band.

Then it was the moment of Catie Waters, from Los Angeles, that enchanted the crowd with a unique blend of jazz and soul, with rich undertones of R&B and funk grooves. (https://www.facebook.com/catiewaters/)

Last to exhibit was Albie Donnelly’s Supercharge that played a blend of R. ‘n’ B. and Funk.

You know what BB King said about them once? “SUPERCHARGE is Europe’s finest Rhythm ‘n’ Blues Band.”! It was a great privilege to see them live!

To finish, a big thank to ChillOut productions (founders and organizers of the annual Dubai International Jazz Festival) that maintained their promises delivering a great night of music and fun!

Episode 2 of this fantastic season one will hit Dubai on Friday 17th of November (https://www.jazzgardenseries.com/line-up-2017-2018) with great performances by Sharrie Williams (and her band), Lin Rountree, and many more!

Don’t forget to register!
