Ashe has released her debut EP The Rabbit Hole, out now via Mom + Pop. A colorful trip that seamlessly blends catchy, modern sounds with elements of psychedelia, The Rabbit Hole adds seven songs to Ashe’s impressive catalogue, including the sunny, mood-boosting track “Choirs” and new, mesmerizingly ethereal song “Real Love.”
Tackling topics such as the human condition, escapism, existentialism and love, The Rabbit Hole encourages listeners to embrace their weird, authentic selves through its very own brand of psych-pop.
“The rabbit hole is my wonderland,” says Ashe on the EP. “It’s a whole different universe, I hope people feel understood; like they have one more person in this world that gets them.”
The Rabbit Hole‘s release follows the end of a successful, national tour with Lewis Capaldi and the recent release of “Choirs,” which saw Ashe break 200 million total streams across all of her songs to date. With nine Hype Machine #1s to her name and tracks that have charted in the Top 10 of the Spotify Global 50 (PRESS HERE to listen to “Used to It“), Ashe was announced as one of VEVO dscvr’s Artists to Watch for 2018.
Originally garnering international exposure as a songwriter and jazz vocalist from the world renowned Berklee College of Music, Ashe has since collaborated with Louis The Child on “World on Fire” and “Right To It.” She has also toured with the Chainsmokers, Lauv, Shaun Frank, Louis The Child, and Whethan, and performed with Big Gigantic at last year’s Coachella.
