Los Angeles, CA – August 28, 2017 – Today, Northern California-native singer/songwriter Ashe (Mom+Pop) released the video to her first single “Used to It” via MilkPRESS HERE to watch. “Used to It,” was released earlier this summer and has already amassed over 800 k Spotify streams, gained 7 #1 Hype Machines in a row, and charted #1 on the Spotify Global Viral 50 – PRESS HERE to listen and PRESS HERE to listen to the stripped version. She also released a track with Louis the Child, “World on Fire,” which has over 2 million Spotify streams – PRESS HERE to listen.

Of the video, Ashe said, “Since this was my first music video, I wanted it to be a glimpse into the way I see the world; romantic and trippy, almost docu style. The director and I were really inspired by Madonna’s ‘Truth or Dare’ and wanted to create some of that timelessness. I was pretty adamant about making my first vid on 16mm film, knowing it would be both challenging and liberating. There’s no instant gratification with film, we couldn’t see if the take looked good or not, we just had to trust the process. I think at the end of it all, we came out with a piece of art not just ‘content.'”

24-year-old Ashe has been garnering praise with her various collaborations this past year including works with Louis the Child, Whethan, Shaun Frank, Ben Phipps and more. As a graduate in composition & production from world renowned, Berklee College of Music, Ashe gained international exposure as a songwriter and jazz vocalist. Recent performances at Coachella with Big Gigantic and a run of dates on The Chainsmokers arena tour alongside Shaun Frank, make sure to keep an eye on this retro-beach-pop ingenue. This month, Ashe announced she will be supporting Louis the Child on a run of west coast tour dates this fall and will be supporting Whethan on select tour dates in October.
