Bloody Knees reveal the video for their latest single ‘Something Nice’.
‘Something Nice’ is a scintillating dive into the no-holds-barred world of Bloody Knees; melodic acoustic guitar verses draw the listener in before catapulting them into a mammoth, scuzzy hook, reminiscent of ’90s garage rock and the greats of contemporary indie. Speaking about the track, frontman Bradley Griffiths says:“Something Nice is definitely one of our favourite songs. It wasn’t finished when we went into the studio, we finished writing it as we were recording it pretty much, so what you can hear is a song that is very much in the moment and I think a lot of the fun and energy in the track comes from that and is evident in the way the song sounds. We even ended up using a 12 string acoustic on the track and we were listening to a decent amount of Sheryl Crow at the time. It’s definitely Something Nice.”
‘Something Nice’ is the latest track to be lifted from Bloody Knees’ latest EP ‘You Can Have It’ which is out now on Distiller Records – check it out here: https://open.spotify.com/album/53Gsk0ZosghZh9JJI1AcKb
