rockyourlyricsLongtime friends, Bowling For Soup’s Jaret Reddick and The Dollyrots’ Kelly Ogden have been touring the world together with their respective bands for almost a decade. With their bands having shared countless shows, one very special show, at The Roundhouse in London’s Camden Town back in 2016 was the catalyst that two and a half years later brings us to where we are today. Here’s the wonderful Kelly to explain more:
“This isn’t the first time we’ve made music together. On tour we usually play a song together, we released an album called One Big Happy where we covered each other’s songs, released a 7” covering each other’s songs and recorded a duet called “Love Ya Love Ya Love Ya” that a lot of you guys went bonkers over.
On our last trip to the UK, after playing “Love Ya” on stage to a full house at London’s Roundhouse, we decided to do a whole album together.”
That album is the whimsically titled Jaret and Kelly Sittin’ In A Tree, which is set for release on the 7th of December. The album has been produced by longtime Bowling For Soup collaborator & producer Linus Of Hollywood. You can check out the wonderfully comical album artwork below:

Jaret Reddick and Kelly Ogden will very soon be back in the UK as The Dollyrots support Jaret on his second UK solo tour – Heartache and Hilarity Too!
Following the success of the first Heartache and Hilarity Tour last year, Jaret returns with a brand new show with five dates across England and Wales before heading onto Mainland Europe for another three dates. For those not familiar with the Heartache and Hilarity shows, they are a combination of the songs Bowling For Soup fans know and love, along with songs from Jaret’s various other projects, but that’s not the half of it. Jaret will tell stories from his almost twenty five years in the entertainment industry, ranging from tour tales with Bowling For Soup, working with Disney, his other voice over and acting work and so much more. You will laugh, and you will probably cry too, all in the name of Heartache and Hilarity.
The Dollyrots will be supporting Jaret along with Lacey, both performing acoustically with some fantastic re-workings of both band’s most popular songs. There may also be the first opportunity to hear performances live from Jaret and Kelly together of some of the songs from Jaret and Kelly Sittin’ In A Tree!
