BUSH release ‘The Kingdom Deluxe Edition’ featuring David Bowie ‘Heroes’ tribute

Iconic multi-platinum rock band BUSH has today released The Kingdom Deluxe Edition, and announced two live drive-in shows across Southern California to celebrate. Pre-order the album HERE.

The record features six bonus songs including “Heroes,” a special tribute to David Bowie recorded with Bowie’s pianist Mike Garson, as well as live performances of the title track “The Kingdom” and hard-charging single “Flowers On A Grave,” which went Top 10 on Active Rock Radio. Press heralded The Kingdom as one of BUSH’s best records in over 10 years.

Speaking about recording “Heroes”, Gavin Rossdale said: “Mike Garson asked me to join him on a Bowie song of my choosing for a charity event for Musicares. David was a huge inspiration, a friend, and is much missed. So this was a great thrill. I chose Heroes – one of the greatest songs of all time. The fact we have a BOWIE composition with Mike Garson on a BUSH record blows my mind.”

BUSH will also return to the stage to celebrate the release of the deluxe edition with two nights of performances in partnership with Concerts In Your Car. The empty parking lots of each venue will be transformed into a pulsing theatre-in-the-round, complete with a massive stage, a state-of-the-art sound system that transmits the performance to each car’s FM radio, elaborate lighting and four massive LED video screens that will provide 360 degrees of visual entertainment.
