RYL: When do you plan to release a new album?

There’s no plan to release a new album yet. I’m taking my time to make the album that I want

RYL: Tell us everything about the song “Alquimista”?

The song says: “Convierto el dolor en arte, soy Alquimista” which means “I turn the art into pain, I am the alchemist” It talks about that, using painful experiences to transform it into beautiful art

RYL: Is there a common meaning/theme between all your songs?

Most of my songs talks about my personal struggle, my life in Mexico, self-empowerment… female-empowerment etc

RYL:  When you first started to make music?

The first songs I ever wrote I was like 7 and there were about my mom… but they were funny tho, I was like freestyling to her all the time about the most random shit… She says she knew I had a special talent every since…

The first song I ever recorded as Niña Dioz I was 18

RYL: how do you, usually, write the lyrics and music of your songs?

I write in all forms available depending on the situation… If I’m driving or walking I record on my phone, I have a tons of notes that I wrote also in my cellular phone when I’m waiting … If I’m at home, Usually I write on my computer, If I’m on a trip I write on my notebook.

So yeah, when it’s time to put together a song is like playing puzzle with all these lyrics.

RYL: Do you remember the day you wrote “Lola”?

I actually do, I remember I really wanted to write a very nasty song to the beat that Rosso has given me… That song was very fun to record.

RYL: Which is the most important thing for you while doing music?

Be myself, be original … Not giving a fuck what others are doing.

RYL:  Which is the best verse you ever wrote?

I have many that I like, it’s hard to choose just one but here it is: No hay diamantes ni mansions sólo quedan los recuerdos, deventamos como estrellas que se ven desde el desierto

RYL: Which is the last song you wrote (not published yet)?

It´s called He nacido libre – I was born free

RYL: what is behind the verses of “indestructible” ?

It’s a story about love and heartbreak
