THE HAUNTED:Not really,it’s all a big mix of everyday life themes.
RYL: Everyone seems to like “Cutting Teeth”– do you remember writing it?
THE HAUNTED:I remember reading the lyrics for the first time and getting all exited with the song…it was actually recorded first with a different set of lyrics but was later changed…for the better it turns out!=)
RYL: How do you usually write the lyrics of your songs?
THE HAUNTED:I usually start with a title or a general theme….and go from there…whatever comes lout,comes out.
RYL: “Time (Will Not Heal)” is the latest single released, what inspired its lyrics?
THE HAUNTED:My past struggle with drugs and everything that comes in the wake of a life with drugs.
RYL: Let’s go back to 2003 and talk about “D.O.A.”. How do you feel when you play it live after more than 10 years?
THE HAUNTED:It’s still one of my all time favourite songs to play live…it always gets the crowd moving!=)
RYL: What inspired “Eye Of The Storm”?
THE HAUNTED:Same as stated earlier…about my life with drugs and violence.
RYL: What is the best verse you ever wrote?
THE HAUNTED:A song with my previous band Face Down,a song called “War Hog”
