Anitta’s sizzling summer anthem “Me Gusta” featuring Cardi B and Myke Towers made Anitta one of Brazil’s biggest breakout pop superstars, debuting Top 5 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs Chart. Paired with a stunning video, it’s a taste of her forthcoming album, which is executive produced by the award-winning Ryan Tedder.
The international phenomenon has stayed busy this season, giving a stunning performance medley of “Me Gusta” and the Brazilian classic “Mas, Que Nada!” last night at the 21st Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards. Anitta also reprised Mary J. Last month, Anitta headlined the first-ever FIFA 21 World Celebration, performed at iHeart Radio’s Fiesta Latina 2020, and joined Billboard’s Latin Music Week Q&A with Ryan Tedder.
“Me Gusta” is just another impressive notch on Anitta’s belt, garnering over 156 million total streams, and follows the July release of her single “Tócame,” featuring Arcangel and De La Ghetto. Earlier this summer, Anitta signed with Warner Records, the start of a fruitful partnership that has pushed her music even further. Boasting 6 Latin GRAMMY® Award nominations, 7 MTV EMA wins, 5.1 billion YouTube views, and 4.4 billion Spotify streams. Anitta is already a star, and “Me Gusta” has the power to intensify her global shine even more.
