RYL: “Human Abuse” is the title of your last album ; are you happy about the feedback you have received so far? What it does mean for you lyrically speaking?

The Juliet Massacre: Hi all, here’s Antomega.

The feedback is very positive, we can’t believe about it. Our fans are purchasing a lot of stuff from our bigcartel and this is the main sign that everything is going well. “Human Abuse” wants to go straight to the point of the matter: understand how man is destroying himself and everything around him.

It’s not an album where you can find answers, is an album full of complaints.

RYL: What “Beaten & Killed” means for you?

The Juliet Massacre: It talks about how often the police who should, in theory, defend ourself becomes the vehicle of gratuitous violence and this thing is totally unacceptable.

RYL: Is there a common meaning/theme between all the songs of the album?

The Juliet Massacre: Yes, as I said all the songs speak about our self-destruction, completely unavoidable nowadays.

RYL:  Do you remember how the lyrics of “Drown in Dust” have been written?

The Juliet Massacre: Sincerely I started to write something about the pollution and it did not take long to get that lyric.

RYL: how do you, usually, write the lyrics and music of your songs?

The Juliet Massacre: For this album the lyrics were written and then adapted on the music already composed, but in the future will most likely try to write directly on the music.

RYL: Tell us everything about “Earth Annilhation”….

The Juliet Massacre: It’s a scream of protest, sadness and bitterness that the earth sends to humans, no longer able to endure all daily suffers without any thanks.

RYL: Which is the most important thing for you while doing music?

The Juliet Massacre: The first thing is our own satisfaction, the taste of being able to compose the music we want, then be able to transmit emotions to the listener fortifying the passion that people have in music.

Then, of course, play gigs and be on tour, which are the best things about this hobby.

RYL:  Which is the best verse you ever wrote?

The Juliet Massacre: I think all the lyric from “Gli anni di piombo”, the last track of our new full length. I can tell you that I am a huge fan of the italian “Poliziotteschi” movies from the ’70s.

They had storyboards about the chaos that was in Italy during those years: massacres, extortion, robberies, kidnappings.

I wrote it thinking about all these shitty things in those dark years for our nation and it is absolutely a part of the main theme of the entire full lenght.

RYL: Which is the last song you wrote (not published yet)?

The Juliet Massacre: Well, we have a track with some guest vocals, but I can’t tell you more about it ehhehehe!

RYL: Tell us about your projects of touring this summer…

The Juliet Massacre: This summer we’ll have a gig with Suicide Silence, The Black Dahlia Murder and Black Tongue in Pisa, after that we’ll plan something over Europe but we have not confirmed anything, so stay tuned on our facebook page.

Thank you so much Rock You Lyrics, stay fucking breeeee.
