· Grimes DJ set, Interpol, Jhay Cortez and Chico da Tina join the line-up of the Portuguese festival.

· The 9th edition of the Porto event, headlined by Tame Impala, Gorillaz and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, will take place from 9th to 11th June.

In the lead up to 2022, Primavera Sound continues to add new draws to the festival route with which next year we will make up for lost time. Jumping from city to city, from Primavera to Primavera, we will be able to recognise the musical personality and the values on which the Barcelona festival is built after 19 editions, the community around the world continues to grow regardless of the kilometres. In a week full of surprises that started with the line-up of Primavera Sound Los Angeles and continued with Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires and São Paulo as new stops on the journey, we could not leave out the news about NOS Primavera Sound Porto, which will always be the first international adventure of Primavera Sound.

Six months after the main line-up of the 9th edition of the Portuguese event was announced, headed by Tame Impala, Gorillaz and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, four new additions have been announced for the programme that will fill the Parque da Cidade with music from the June 9th to the 11th. The forever visionary Grimes, who will do a DJ set in Oporto that will synthesise her ground-breaking vision of pop, the alternative rock survivors Interpol, the new Latin idol Jhay Cortez and local urban star Chico da Tina join a line-up that already includes Beck, Pavement, Little Simz, Kim Gordon, Khruangbin, Caroline Polachek, Slowdive, King Krule and a long list of artists and bands that make up not a line-up but a 360º panoramic view of today’s most exciting sounds.

Full festival tickets and day tickets for NOS Primavera Sound Porto 2022 are on sale at €140 (+ booking fee) and €60 (+ booking fee) respectively on DICE and at the usual points of sale (FNAC, CTT, El Corte Inglés and NOS shops).
