A lot of the songs are love songs with lyrics written from the context of the relationship between our two singers Matt and Lizzy.

Are you ever scared of revealing, aspects of your personal experience, to strangers through your music?
I don’t think we are to be honest. We all have insecurities like everyone else, but we try to put it all out there in the music we write and the way we perform. Because the goal is that in being vulnerable or writing about something personal, is that someone else can relate to it too.
What has your journey in the music industry been like up to now?
It has been a constant pattern of really cool news, and then waiting around for it to happen. We have come to find out that you have to be patient to survive in the music business. But it’s worth it. Timing is everything, and now we finally feel we’re in a place where we’re ready.

What was the soundtrack to your childhood?
Collectively we all grew up on Disney Music. We still like to blast it in the van when we are on tour, not tired of it yet!

What inspired “Our Little Secret” ?
So when we first started working with Tom, his friends would ask him about us and who we are and for a while he kind of kept it to himself. Our producer Dan asked him why he kept us so much of a secret in the beginning and that sparked the idea tom told us we had to write a song called our little secret because it sounded like the perfect album title. So we did! The whole song is really about living in the moment and taking chances. And the idea that you don’t always have to do things for the perfect Instagram post. Sometimes we all have a night that is completely memorable, and it’s almost better kept for just your memories. So once we had the idea to write a song called “Our Little Secret,” the lyrics fell into place.
What is the best show you ever played?
That’s a tough question. One of our favorites was playing in New York at the Paramount Theatre. It was such an amazing venue, and was our first time playing one that big out of state. It was the first show we played with our full sound and we remember all just feeling so excited, like we didn’t want it to end. It’s shows like that one that we’ll look back on one day and say remember when.

What are your plans for 2018?
2018 is a year of finally releasing our music that we’ve been holding on to for so long. It’s also a year full of touring- we’ve got our tour with the T’s coming up starting June 17th, and then from there we’ll be hitting the road the rest of the year. We’re just so excited to be going to so many amazing places, and can’t wait to share what’s next.
