Seattle-based bedroom pop artist Sea Lemon (Natalie Lew) shares a new singleTurn Away,” an infectious track that channels anxieties into a piece of shimmering dream pop. Glittery and colorful, “Turn Away” is the third single from the artist. Sea Lemon’s debut EP is due out this year via Spirit Goth Records.

The floaty dreampop track was written about the fear of being inaccurately perceived, and the overthinking and wondering about how one is perceived and thought of. In the chorus “Stop seeing me like that/Wish I’d go away/Do I seem too sad/To make you want to stay,” Natalie faces anxiety associated with meeting someone and hoping they perceive her as someone they want to be close with. It was written, recorded, and co-produced by Natalie and co-produced, mixed, and mastered by the terrific Stefan Mac (producer and engineer for Wallows, No Vacation, and more) all remotely.
