The Hunnaare one of the most exciting young rock bands to emerge from the UK over the past few years, today they release a new track,‘I Get High To Forget’from their upcoming new album (set for an early 2020 release).
The single was produced by Olly Burden(The Prodigy)and Carl Barat(The Libertines) and is a soaring rock anthem set to whet the appetites of their rabid fanbase ahead of album release. The guys will perform the track for the first time at Reading & Leeds Festival this weekend.Ryan from the band adds, “Have you ever experienced or done something that you wish more than anything that you could just delete it from your memory and forget it ever happened? That’s what this song is about; every person’s been through that, in our case it was trying to erase the memory of a someone that lied and cheated us. For me and many of us we got high to take that feeling away and give our mental selves a break from feeling trapped.”
The Hunnafly to LA this Autumn to record their new record with producer John Feldmann(Black Veil Brides, Blink-182, Biffy Clyro, Panic! At The Disco). As well as working with Carl Barat(The Libertines) on the current single, the guys will be writing with Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance)and Theresa and Alex(Yonaka)on this new record. More details to follow.
The Hunnaare poised yet again on the cusp of another hugely successful album and ready for global domination!
