With the amount of new music coming out of the United States on a daily basis it can be very easy to ignore the fact that there’s a well of great international bands. All you have to do is a little searching and you’ll stumble upon a band like The Sensations. A band that sends a little spark throughout your body and makes the hairs on your neck stand up.

The Sensations formed in 2008 in Tokyo, Japan. Imagine for a second the bursting at the seams excitement of a Bomb The Music Industry live show combined with the raw energy of Potshot and you just might begin to understand what The Sensations have to offer. Cherrypicking bits from genre’s including punk, hardcore, third wave ska, soul, and 60’s pop, The Sensations blend all of these sounds together and package it as their own. Their Paper + Plastick debut, Just Let Me Turn You Up, will introduce the band to a new audience here in the US. It’s exciting, it’s fun, and it deserves your attention.

Today, band premieres the single “I Don’t Believe In You.” Along with the premiere, Paper + Plastick launched pre-orders for Just Let Me Turn You Up on vinyl! The Sensations will be partnering up with ska-punk legends Mustard Plug to play a few shows in Florida this October.
