Gearing up for their biggest jaunt yet, London-based alt-pop trio Belle Mt. will support multiplatinum Icelandic band KALEO on the three-leg global “Fight Or Flight” Tour in 2022. The six-month run kicks off in Lisbon, Portugal on January 8 and crisscrosses Europe before the North American phase launches with a two-night stand in Seattle, WA on February 22 and February 23. The eight-week stateside run culminates with a show at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on May 16. It returns to Europe with a show in Berlin, Germany on June 4 and runs for five weeks until its finale at Technopolis in Athens, Greece on July 6. KALEO notably handpicked the group to open “Fight Or Flight” across the globe. This promises to be a high watermark for Belle Mt. as they bring their potent brand of melodic songcraft to an international audience. Tickets for N. American shows are on sale now, UK shows go on sale June 25. Click here for tickets and info.
Belle Mt. continue to unveil music at a prolific pace. In recent weeks, they’ve already shared “The Way A Young Heart Breaks”— available HERE—and “Famous Son” this year. Click here to stream “Famous Son,” and click here to view and share the official video. Expect more music from Belle Mt. soon.
“Famous Son” found Belle Mt. expanding on a sound they’ve been refining since 2017, when the trio released an acoustic version of the single “Hollow” on their independent debut Volume I EP. In the years since, the track took on a life of its own, earning critical acclaim, spots on beloved playlists like Spotify’s “New Music Friday,” and tens of millions of streams. In 2020, Belle Mt. signed with Warner Records and released a new version of “Hollow,” which Belmont described as an exploration of “love, loss, rebirth, and everything in between”—an apt summary of Belle Mt.’s overall ambitions. Stay tuned for yet more new music and tour plans to be announced soon.
