RYL: Your last album is titled “United States of Mind”; why have you selected this title and what it means for you lyrically speaking….

Entail: Hi everybody! “United States of Mind” is a collection of reflection and close glances of our everyday’s life. That’s the meaning for us: take lessons from the past in order to evolve and improving, making the Earth from day to day a better place to live in.

RYL: Tell us everything about the song “Nostalgia”…

Entail: “Nostalgia” is one of the oldest song ever created, by the way we decided, due to the lyrics meaning, to put it in our full length. The song is about everyone past, about carefreeness during everyone youth.

It’s possible in every moment, by remembering those past feelings, to re-live again and again all the thing we’ve experienced, all the lessons we’ve learned.

RYL: Is there a common meaning/theme between all your songs?

Entail: Yeah, every song stands for a different state of mind: nostalgia, perdition, sense of loss… But also evolution and reborn.

RYL:  When you first started to make music?

Entail: We all come from different genres and musical tastes (from the early 2000s) by the way we started play music together in 2010.

RYL: how do you, usually, write the lyrics and music of your songs?

Entail: Everything is used to born from a guitar riff, then, in our experience, the music flows naturally, without forcing. Paolo (our singer) has written a lot of stuffs (mostly thoughts about everyone’s daily life, so true life experiences in what it’s possible to be reflected)… It’s a classical method but still an efficient one!

RYL: Do you remember the day you wrote “All Ways”?

Entail: Yes, sure. It was a really cold winter day… The song was fully produced magically in 2 hours! Although we spent a lot of time in composing electronic parts… The song is a metaphoric collection of the possible ways to live our life, to embrace the good and evil, to die every day and reborn again and again.

RYL: Which is the most important thing for you while doing music?

Entail: At first, of course, having fun! Then, not less important, creating something together which could represent us well and let our ideas and thoughts become real, listenable, something concrete.

RYL:  Which is the best verse you ever wrote?

Entail: It’s hard to say! Every verse, every song is about a precise sensation, a different state of mind, a close look of the period in which we wrote the song and would be impossible for us choosing one.

Moreover each of us has a favorite song in “United States Of Mind”! But if we must choose one: “I need to find a way to reborn to feel always alive, pages burn and gates are closed, I need to fight against myself” of the song called “Lost” is a verse that in few words could explain the concept behind “United States Of Mind”.

RYL: Which is the last song you wrote (not published yet)?

Entail: We have a lot of new ideas, still not completed. One of these, our mostly liked so far, is called “The Black Box”. It’s up to you wondering about a possible meaning!

RYL: which is the meaning behind “Necessary evil”?

Entail: “Necessary Evil” is about all the human beings hosted in this beautiful world called Earth and about the ways in which we are destroying and devastating it.

This is a common idea, already listened for a lot of time, quite obvious: we focused in another aspect… As the song says: “We are the necessary evil to understand the greatness of life”. A reflection about our role here, an awareness.

Are we really that necessary evil in order to comprehend a biggest picture? Is this really the only way?

RYL: Any project of being on tour this summer?

Entail: The plan for this summer is promoting our full length all over the Italy, we have still some gigs to play here, then we are planning another european tour in October (as we’ve have done the past year).

Our target for now is to let “United States Of Mind” be heard from as many people as possibile! We’d really love to share with you guys what we are playing and singing!
