Self-taught producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist newcomer
Von Sell has unveiled his first new music of 2018 – listen to new single “Digital Sleep” below. With this new release, Von Sell announces his sophomore EP, Digital Sleep, out this summer.

“I think we’re all constantly struggling to see what’s right in front of us,” Von Sell shared of his inspiration. “Being glued to your phone certainly doesn’t help but it’s probably the human condition to begin with. I know that I’m often so busy with myself that I’m never actually with myself. I’ve noticed that the more I obsess about myself the more distant I grow from myself. It’s a kind of trance, and I constantly have to remind myself to snap out of it, hence the consistent refrain: ‘wake up.'”

Based in Brooklyn by way of Hamburg, Germany, Von Sell emerged in 2016 with his debut self-titled EP that captivated listeners with its beautifully orchestrated electronic arrangements and his inimitable vocals. His unique sound garnered critical praise, thousands of streams on Spotify and multiple tracks reached #1 on Hype Machine.
Von Sell recently returned with a lighthearted visual created using 1920s cartoon shorts by animator J. Van Beuren, for his single Hell No. A midtempo ballad dealing with heartache and infatuation, “Hell No” was released in partnership with NYU’s Steinhardt students and Village Records.
